We just returned from the best family vacation EVER!! First off, Libba is wonderful, we enjoyed meeting her so much and she was so good to our kids, teaching them about sea life and showing them things. The house was perfect. The horses were amazing. We took some great pics of the horses and a picture of the ocean view with a rainbow...WOW. We left the house one time to go to Corolla and the rest of our week was just calm, quiet family time. Our Labrador (Allie) was in doggie heaven at the beach. Thanks so much for all the info and for the use of your wonderful home. This will not be our last trip. We are already planning our next trip to the OBX.

We just returned from two weeks at the Outer Banks, one of which was at your home.  I have to say that I wish we stayed at your home for both weeks.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really did have a nice relaxing week.  Your home had everything we could have wanted and more.  Our kids actually got along most of the week because they were content as well.  I spent most of my time on the upper deck just enjoying the breeze.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  You were right about the driving, it was a piece of cake.  I actually drove down the road a ways to visit a friend and thought it was pretty fun.
 
I just wanted to send you a note with a heart felt thanks for the coffee mug and goodies and for sharing your home with us.  We really do want to book for two weeks next year and hope that we are able to get it before someone else does.  So, wish us luck!

Wow!..what can I say.  We just spent two weeks in your wonderful Pelican's Perch and it was perfect. My husband and I along with our grown children have been vacationing on the 4x4 OBX for years and we can honestly say, your home is by far, our favorite.  From the amazing original watercolor paintings on the walls to your sweet tropical tiki bar, not to mention the ocean view, this vacation home has it all. We are booking it again next year for sure and we'll be sure to tell all our friends about this special and charming place on the OBX.

Thanks for hooking us up with Skeeter and Libba.  Their Currituck Sound evening cruise was the highlight of our week.

We have just returned from a week's stay at your lovely Pelican Perch.  The house is amazing and we had the best week of vacation.  The decor inside is, in our opinion, the perfect "beachy" theme.  Obviously, someone in your family is a great artist, the paintings in the living room were stunning.
 
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.  We hope to be back next year!!
