Giving it a go this weekend. Will be my first time ice fishing. I went over the weekend to buy all the stuff like Ice Auger, a sled ,bucket etc. By the way if you need bait, check out Nicklows in Addison PA. Its just a short drive up on 40, not far from the lake at all. He has lots of ice fishing stuff, and is a Strikemaster/Mora Wholesaler. The place is in a gas station, and it looks like there nothing in there. Ask to see the wholesale section, they'll walk you through a door, to an anrea, loaded with tackle, and fishing stuff. They got a good stock on live bait as well, including mealies, and I think I saw he had maggots too. Also had minnows, which most places around the lake dont seem to have! Tight lines!
