**Note from the owners:
Brent, Kathy, Stephen and Christine invite you to
stay in our home and sincerely hope that your vacation on this Northern
Beach is second to none. We purchased Pelican's Perch because of
it's ambience, comfort and seclusion. Believe us when we say it's
one of the best, after renting many beach house's over the years from
Duck to Corova. We welcome you, your friends and family into our
home and know you'll enjoy what we have grown to love in a setting that
is unequaled on North Carolina's Outer banks.
If you want more
information, please e-mail us
and we'll be glad to help you with any questions you may have.

The
fun begins where the asphalt ends!
Shift your vehicle
into 4WD and leave the paved road.
Wave goodbye to traffic and the crowded commercialized southern beaches.
Travel 7.4 miles up this beautiful beach and turn left through the
dunes and into this wonderfully appointed beach vacation get-a-way.
Only a sand dune separates you and your family from the Atlantic Ocean
making this semi-oceanfront home the perfect
beach house with an unobstructed
view of the sea.
Arise in the
morning with coffee in hand. Walk barefoot out on your deck and
watch wild mustangs grazing on wild oats on the surrounding dunes. As
the east sun rises you'll see herds of dolphins chasing mullet in the
gray waves while pelicans soar on the thermals. Purple martin colonies (March thru August)
adjacent to
the house, along with gulls, terns, warblers and ospreys, transform this
Outer Banks hide-a-way into a virtual bird watchers paradise.
You, your friends and family are
secluded here, away from the crowds that pack the beach further south where highway 12 ends.
Drop a canoe or kayak into one of the many canals out back (which lead
to the sound) and spend the day
paddling Currituck sound.
"Chicken-necking" for crabs is fun for all ages here too. As the sun
sets, take a dip in the pool. Sip a cold beer while relaxing in the hot tub jets or spend "happy
hour" at dusk with your house guests at our pool-side
tiki bar.
Take it from us, you'll love this place!**

Wild Mustangs visit our beach on a regular
basis.
